Bergen Giardiasis cohort

Patients identified by a positive stool sample during a 2004 Giardia outbreak in Bergen were matched to controls 2:1 and assessed at 3, 6 and 10 years after the outbreak with PROMs. Main outcomes were irritable bowel syndrome (Rome III criteria) and chronic fatigue (Chalder’s Fatigue questionnaire).
